Welcome to MeowHomez.ca (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our website or services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Business Overview

MeowHomez is a privately operated cat-sitting service in Canada. We offer drop-off only pet care. No home visits or veterinary services are provided.

2. Eligibility & Client Responsibilities

By booking with us, you confirm that:

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are the legal owner or have authority over the cat.
  • You provide accurate health and behavior information.
  • We are not liable for issues caused by incomplete or incorrect information.

3. Pet Requirements

  • Cats must be healthy, non-aggressive, and free from contagious diseases.
  • Updated vaccinations (FVRCP & rabies recommended) are required.
  • Cats must arrive in a secure carrier.
  • We may refuse service based on safety concerns.

4. Medical Care & Emergencies

  • We will contact you immediately if your cat becomes ill or injured.
  • If you cannot be reached, we may seek veterinary care at our discretion.
  • You agree to cover all veterinary-related expenses.
  • We are not liable for conditions resulting from stress, pre-existing issues, or natural causes.

5. Liability Waiver

  • No environment is 100% risk-free for pets.
  • We are not liable for:
    • Injury, illness, or death caused by natural events or unforeseeable issues
    • Loss or damage of personal items
    • Damage your pet causes to our property
  • You fully assume all risks associated with leaving your pet in our care.

6. Booking, Payment & Cancellations

6.1 Booking

Bookings must be made through MeowHomez.ca or directly. A booking is confirmed once payment is received.

6.2 Payments

  • Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices may change without notice.

6.3 Cancellations

  • Cancellations made 48+ hours before drop-off may receive a credit at our discretion.
  • No-shows and late cancellations are fully chargeable.

7. Drop-Off & Pick-Up

  • You must pick up your cat at the agreed time.
  • Late pick-ups may incur additional fees.
  • Cats not picked up within 72 hours may be considered abandoned and turned over to authorities.

8. Website Use

  • You agree not to misuse the website or attempt unauthorized access.
  • We may suspend access at our discretion.

9. Privacy Policy

  • We collect information for booking and safety purposes.
  • We do not sell or share data except as required by law or emergencies.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on MeowHomez.ca is the property of MeowHomez and may not be copied without permission.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website or services means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Disputes will be resolved in Ontario courts.
